The fine print
Privacy
Summary
This site collects almost nothing about you. It has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter, no advertising, and no cookies of its own. The few ways any data about you can reach me or anyone else are listed below, and each one is small. Page views are counted with a cookie-free analytics service, described below.
Who runs this site
zacharielimantinguiri.com is the personal website of Zacharie Liman-Tinguiri. It is owned and operated by HHHTDP LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
What I collect
Almost nothing. The site is a static site with no user accounts, no logins, no comments, and no newsletter. It runs no advertising pixels and no tag manager. If I add anything that collects data, I will update this policy before it goes live.
If the site offers a contact form, the only information collected is what you type into it: your name, your email address, and your message. It is delivered to me by email and used only to reply to you.
The one thing the site stores in your browser is your light or dark theme choice, saved in your browser's local storage under the key theme. That is not a cookie. It never leaves your device, and I never see it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Hosting
The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives standard request data when you load a page: your IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested, and a timestamp. That data sits in Vercel's server logs under Vercel's privacy policy (opens in a new tab). I do not enrich, export, or analyze those logs.
Analytics
The site counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics (opens in a new tab). A small script loaded from Cloudflare records which page was viewed, the referring site, the browser and country, and how quickly the page loaded. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not follow you across sites. Cloudflare processes that data under Cloudflare's privacy policy (opens in a new tab); what I see is an aggregate dashboard of page views and referrers, never an individual visitor. If you block scripts from cloudflareinsights.com, the site works exactly the same.
Affiliate links
The Library section lists books, and each book carries two purchase links, one to Amazon and one to Bookshop.org. Those links include an affiliate identifier and are marked rel="sponsored". If you buy through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The disclosure at the foot of the Library page, next to the links, says so in the words each program requires; this section explains what that means for your data.
The links are plain links. No tracking pixel or script from either program loads on this site, and neither program tells me who you are. I receive only aggregate sales reporting.
When you click an Amazon link, you leave this site for Amazon's, and Amazon may collect information directly from you and place or recognize cookies on your browser under the Amazon Privacy Notice (opens in a new tab). As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
This site is also an affiliate of Bookshop.org, which supports independent bookstores. When you click a Bookshop.org link, Bookshop.org may likewise collect information from you and set cookies under Bookshop.org's privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
Embedded content and outbound links
The Music page embeds Spotify playlists from open.spotify.com. Inside that frame, Spotify may set cookies and collect data under Spotify's privacy policy (opens in a new tab). Nothing else on this site is embedded.
The film collection pages link out to YouTube playlists and to individual film pages on Letterboxd. Those are plain links, not embeds; nothing from either service loads until you click. Film details such as year and director come from The Movie Database (TMDB), credited on the page, and no TMDB code runs in your browser. The footer links to my LinkedIn, GitHub, and Instagram profiles. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google Fonts.
Once you follow any outbound link, the site you land on has its own privacy policy, and this one no longer applies.
Booking and payments
Where offered on the site, the Connect page lets you book time with me through Google Calendar appointment schedules: a free introductory call, and a paid consultation billed through Stripe under HHHTDP LLC. Booking opens Google's booking page in a new tab. Google collects the name, email address, and any answers you enter there, under Google's privacy policy (opens in a new tab), and shares the booking details with me so I can hold the appointment. For paid sessions, Stripe handles payment under Stripe's privacy policy (opens in a new tab); I never see your card number.
The site publishes contact@zacharielimantinguiri.com as a contact address. If you write to me, by email or through a contact form where offered, your message is kept in my Google Workspace mailbox and used only to reply to you.
Your choices and rights
Because I hold almost no personal data, there is little to exercise rights over, but the rights exist. If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of personal data I hold about you, and to complain to your data protection authority. If you are in California, the CCPA gives you similar rights of access and deletion, and the right to know that I do not sell or share your personal information. In practice, the only personal data I could hold is a message you sent me or a booking you made, and I will delete either on request. Email me at the address below.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect any information from them.
