A short introduction.

I am an avid reader, film enthusiast, traveller and builder, currently experimenting and building with AI. SCKIN is making reliable information on sickle cell disease universally accessible. MMA Fight Advisor predicts fight outcomes with machine learning.

Before founding either, I spent fifteen years in finance and product — the last five and a half at Google, where I was a senior product manager working on advertising safety and signals, and before that at Amazon. I hold an MBA from Cornell and a master’s in economics from Ottawa.

I studied those subjects — economics, political science, finance and entrepreneurship — because I believe innovation drives development and human flourishing. Two early ventures tried to prove it: Demeter used a blockchain to secure property titles in Niger, and Brother’s Bank used smartphones to bring banking to the unbanked in Nigeria. Neither launched, but they taught me a lot about social enterprise.
